Name of qualification in diploma:
Lawyer. An MA also qualifies for the title of Doctor, the acronym of which is dr. jur (Doctor of Law and Political Science). Purpose of training:
The aim of the training is to train lawyers with advanced skills in the field of law and the knowledge and understanding of the main areas of law, the functioning of the state, legislation and law enforcement; they are capable of practicing law in the public and private spheres, gaining practical experience, and continuing professionally qualified positions.
They can participate in solving and organizing economic, social, interstate and civic problems in the international spheres and especially in European area.
They are prepared to continue their studies in doctoral training.
Specialties, specializations:
The Faculty conducts uniform law training. There are no specialties or specializations, but the students’ interest is satisfied by the wide range of subjects announced in the field of differentiated professional and additional professional knowledge.
Karrierlehetőségek
The employment prospects of graduate law students are considered adequate. Beyond the traditionally popular careers (courts, prosecution, lawyers), the administration, the economy and the financial sector offer opportunities. Young multilingual, well-qualified young lawyers also have opportunities to study abroad and find employment in Brussels.
