Overview
This undergraduate program aims to train economists in the field of tourism and hospitality. These professionals will be able to implement tasks related to tourism and hospitality as well as manage and organize related work processes. They will also possess a sound knowledge of economics, social theory, applied methodological knowledge, and specialized knowledge. The practical courses will prepare for the application of the professional knowledge and to be able to adapt themselves quickly and efficiently to unusual cultural and business environments. The study plan includes two semester of internship – one of these must be spent abroad or at an international company.
Career opportunities: tourism marketing on national and regional level, event tourism, health and wellness tourism, sustainable tourism or heritage tourism, hotels and tourism companies, management of restaurants, multinational corporations, consulting firms, etc.
