Entry qualification | Bachelor diploma (or higher) 15-20 minutes long online interview (via Skype or GoogleChat) Applicants will be interviewed by appointed staff members from the Department. Professors will check the applicant’s preliminary knowledge of the chosen study area, motivation, the language skills and intercultural competences of the applicant. The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English / Hungarian. Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original. You must take the original entry qualification documents along with you when you finally go to the university. |

Overview
Program description:
““The program – based on agricultural, economic, management and rural sociology studies – focuses primarily on the understanding of the current problems of sustainable development and rural regions, the cooperation in the possible directions of development, the preparation of actual development projects, as well as the management and monitoring of project implementation. The training also covers local economic development, project management, regional economics, agricultural markets, agricultural policy. The most special feature of the course is the organization of frequent study trips. “Learning by Seeing”“”“ is stressed through the visits to different scales of farms, municipalities and rural development agencies and projects, as well as to our partner universities in neighbouring Slovakia and Romania. The wide range of management and rural development skills enable the graduates to pursue different careers and adapt their knowledge to different conditions in their home countries. “”
