The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English / Hungarian. Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original. You must take the original entry qualification documents along with you when you finally go to the university. |

Overview
Program description:
During the course of the master program students wishing to pursue classical music studies may choose from various specialisations all of them serving the purpose of getting to know the given instrument in depth. Classical instrumental performers are trained to use their instruments clearly, well-formed, and according to style and to the composer’s way of thinking in orchestras and chamber music ensembles. In addition to technical skills theoretical knowledge is also necessary as the knowledge of general music studies is part of the professional musician’s skills.

Only classical specializations are available. Jazz specializations are not available with the scholarship.

Selection process:
Applicants for part-time studies in Classical Musical Instrumental Performance are selected based on their submitted music portfolio (recording of three works performed by the applicant*).
*except for string instruments: two works from different eras performed by the applicant
