Program description:
The BA in Management and Business Administration from Eötvös József College is the basic qualification at higher education level for specialists in the field of Economics. Two specializations are possible within this BA, namely State government and Entrepreneurship.

Entrance exam description:
The Institutional Stipendium Hungaricum Coordinator – based on the Tempus Public Foundation’s submitted list – will contact Applicants via mail. The e-mail contains the schedule of recruiting process – including the details of the online exam. Applicant’s recruiting scores are determined as follows: – Results of candidate’s preliminary studies (secondary school graduations) – Results of the online exam. During the recruiting process, the Committee examined the Applicant’s motivation background and knowledge of a foreign language.

The admission decision is based on the following results:
- previous studies
- Mathematics test
- motivation letter
- online interview

Minimum admission requirements: 60 points. Those applicants who gain less than 60 points will be rejected.

FEATURES OF THE INSTITUTE OF BUSINESS SCIENCES

The number of credits to be collected during the 7-semester course is 180 + 30 credits. The orientation of the program: practice-oriented (60-70 percent), the minimum credit value of related practical training outside the institution: 30 credits, of which the credit value assigned to the preparation of the dissertation: is 10 credits. The internship is one semester, with a minimum of twelve weeks of internships. The disciplines leading to the qualification, the fields of specialization from which the program is built: economic, methodological, and business knowledge, social science knowledge, and management and management professional knowledge. The aim of the training is to train economic professionals who, with their knowledge of economics, applied economics and methodology, and the knowledge acquired within the specializations, are able to get to know, plan and analyze the operational processes and economic relations of economic organizations and institutions.

Career opportunities

The purpose of the training is to train economic professionals, who will be capable of planning and analyzing the processes of economic organizations and institutions, management, a business organization as well as entrepreneurial activities and processes. In addition, they acquire the required knowledge in order to be able to continue in the second cycle of the training. Our goal is for students to be able to work in the business environment, at budgetary organizations, or other organizations/companies straight after graduation.

Graduates with this degree are familiar with:
- the fundamental concepts of business, its main sequences, and the main factors which influence it;
- guidelines for the management of resources, production factors, and tools and methods used in
design, planning, analysis, evaluation, and implementation;
- the principles and methods of governance, organization, and operation of business processes;
- the principles and methods of foundation and creation of organizational structures and behaviors,
and change management in businesses and institutions.
- Graduation with this degree also means compliance with the prerequisites to participate in Masters
courses relating to business and management.
