Programme description:
Have you ever thought about the powerful impact communications has on the world? If you want to develop the skills to influence and inform others using verbal, non-verbal and visual techniques across different kinds of media, Communication and Media Science is for you!
Our Bachelor in Communication and Media Science will provide you with competitive knowledge in communication, marketing, public relations and media. You will dive deeper into a variety of modules. There is a strong practical emphasis embedded into the programme. Students find studying communications enjoyable, interesting and highly relevant to the workplace and everyday lives. You have the opportunity to gain professional experience by undertaking a short internship in your second year.
You will study the foundations of communications and social sciences, such as sociology, political science and philosophy before you steadily extend your knowledge to marketing psychology, digital marketing, semiotics and media economics.
You will acquire strategic communication skills and a fundamental understanding of digital public life and organisational communication.
The strong emphasis on soft skill development, interpersonal skills and applied communications theory will mould you into a competitive graduate, ready for a vast array of roles in the international labour market.
