Overview
The programme provides students with multidisciplinary skills to produce
professionals able to work in diverse areas of the broad field of Civil
Engineering. Potential occupations include engineering design, construction
management, employment at a government regulatory agency, specialized field
and laboratory testing and analysis, operation and maintenance of civil
engineering works, site planning and development as well as contract oversight.
Civil engineering professionals work with architects, engineers from other
disciplines, contractors, government officials, business people, and
finance/insurance specialists.
The bachelor’s program also prepares students to pursue studies for a Master’s
degree.

Programme structure
The total number of credits needed to complete the programme is 240 The programme is divided into five categories: natural sciences (51 credits), economics and human sciences (17 credits), fundamental technical knowledge (117 credits), specialized technical knowledge (40 credits), thesis course (15 credits). 1 credit equals one ECTS credit, and 1 credit is defined as 25 student working hours.
