Overview
Program description:
The aim of the training is to train economist specialists who, with their theoretical and methodological knowledge, are capable of exploring the social dimensions of environmental problems, taking into account the interactions between social and natural systems, analyzing social, cultural and ecological processes from an economic perspective, global and regional development and environmental policies and strategies, and for creative and innovative participation in the development of programmes, the cultivation of economic geography, regional, and environmental social sciences. The training makes you able to solve independent analytical and planning tasks, work and manage in groups, as well as conduct analyses and research related to sustainable development in the academic, public and private spheres. Students can learn about the latest ICT solutions (VR, AR, MR, XR applications) in the Metaverse, and their application in regional and environmental economics, which is unique in the European higher education field of economics. The students are prepared to continue their studies in doctoral training.

Entry requirements:
A complete application consists of the following documents:
- Scanned copy of the original
Bachelor degree certificate or equivalent AND its translation (in English),
- Transcript of Records and its translations in English,
- Certificate of English language knowledge.
Minimum level of language proficiency (oral and written): B2 in the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR). Exemption from the English language proficiency test is granted to those: whose native language is English or who have studied in a secondary school/ higher education institution where the language of tuition is English.
- Copy of the valid passport (with the place and date of expiration),
- Letter of motivation in English (Presentation of previous studies and courses. Please explain why you chose this course and the university.)
The applicant takes part in a professional entrance examination led by the admission committee of the faculty, which makes a recommendation about the admission of the applicant. The oral entrance examination will be online. After the entrance examination the University will send a notification letter to the applicant about the result of the application through DreamApply system.
