Overview
The aim of the curriculum is to train professionals who are able to practice the profession of archaeologist with their general knowledge of archaeology and their knowledge of the chosen discipline and their auxiliary sciences. With knowledge of the archaeological methods of excavation and interpretation, they are aware of the problems of at least two archaeological periods, or disciplines. They are suitable for the exploration, excavation and processing of archaeological sources and sites, as well as for the management of such museum collections. They are also familiar with other areas of cultural heritage in order to carry out the basic tasks related to this heritage in all institutions responsible for the exploration, protection, processing and presentation of cultural heritage. In addition, they have the knowledge needed to fill the position of archaeologist-museologist. They are prepared to continue their studies in doctoral programs.
