Making a 100-point ranking out of the admission requirements. 50 point could be given for the basic previous academic achievement and the other 50 point could be reached for the oral entrance exam.

Programme structure
A képzés célja:
A képzés célja olyan fizikusok képzése, akik megszerzett ismeretek birtokában képesek tanulmányaikat a képzés második ciklusában folytatni, illetve egyénileg és szervezett formában további tanulmányokat végezni. Általános műveltségük, korszerű természettudományos szemléletmódjuk képessé teszi őket arra, hogy a műszaki és gazdasági életben, valamint az államigazgatásban irányító, szervező részfeladatokat lássanak el.
The purpose of the program:
The goal of the program is to train physicists who after receiving the degree will be able to continue with their higher education, or will be able to study further either individually or in some organized form. Their general knowledge and up-to-date scientific worldview will allow them to be a valuable partner in technological and economic life, as well as it will help them to assume government related positions that require organizational and leadership skills.

Elhelyezkedési lehetőségek:
A szakot elvégzők számára középtávon bőséges elhelyezkedési lehetőséget biztosít a munkaerőtől egyre magasabb képzettséget elváró modern ipar bővülése, az informatikai szolgáltatások most kiépülő területei. Az elmélyült természettudományos és informatikai ismeretek jól használhatók makrogazdasági elemzéssel foglalkozó munkahelyeken (kockázatelemzés), gazdasági elemzéseket végző tanácsadó cégeknél. A tanulmányaikat befejezők programozóként, rendszergazdaként, információs rendszerek üzemeltetőiként helyezkedhetnek el.
Intézetünk meghatározó szerepet tölt be az EU finanszírozású ELI Szuperlézer projekthez kapcsolódó képzésekben, ami nagy előnyt jelenthet a későbbi ottani elhelyezkedéshez.
Külkapcsolataink lehetővé teszik, hogy a kutatói pályát választók fokozatszerzés után eredményesen kapcsolódjanak be nemzetközi kutatási projektekbe.
