Programme structure
The basic subjects and general medical knowledge are taught in the institutes and clinics of the partner faculties. Some specialised basic dental subjects are taught from the very beginning of the training. From the third year onwards, dental subjects play an increasingly important role alongside general medical knowledge, and the number of specialised practicals increases significantly. These subjects are taught by nearly sixty dentists currently teaching at the Faculty. The small groups of dental practitioners enable our students to practise dentistry independently on graduation.
The medical thesis is formally processed in the final year of the training. The thesis topic needs to be declared by at least one semester before the end of studies.
